Don-Jo 2 3/4 Inch High Extended Lip Strike Plate

Don-Jo Extended Strike Plate with 2 3/4″ Inch Height

If you have an extra thick door, or extra thick casing a standard sized strike won’t work quite like it should. Don-jo extended lip strikes are the answer. Chose the size that suits your needs. Typically you would want the lip of the strike to extend just a bit past the casing edge on your jamb so that when the door closes the latch strikes the strike plate instead of the casing. Extended lip strikes are available in many sizes but not all finishes are available.
